Formulation

Tilvalosin (as tartrate) 5,00 g, Excipients 100.00 g

Indications

Treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to Tylvalosin mainly mycoplasmosis, chronic respiratory disease in poultry, swine enzootic pneumonia, swine dysentery and porcine ileitis. Tylvalosin is a new macrolide antibiotic of high efficacy, up to ten times stronger than Tylosin, resulting antimycoplasmal this superior efficacy. Tylvax® provides faster absorption, better bioavailability and in higher concentrations than those achievable with tylosin, ensuring a specific wide area distribution for pulmonary airways and blood.

Dosage and Administration

Pigs: Preventive: 400 to 1000 g/TM kg of feed during 21 days. Therapeutic: 1-2 kg/TM kg of feed during 10 to 14 days. Poultry: Preventive: 400 to 1000 g/TM kg of feed during 7 days. Therapeutic: 1-2 kg/TM kg of feed during 7 to 10 days.
